1. Silent night, holy night!
In the dark of the stable
the holy couple is keeping guard:
Little child, here in the stable,
sleep in calm and peace,
sleep in calm and peace!

2. Silent night, holy night!
Grand is the mystery,
which the angels announce to shepherds,
the earth is listening its echo:
The Savior is born,
the Savior is born!

3. Silent night, holy night!
What nice smile is shining
from your lips, Christ,
when the redeeming hour came for men
by your birth,
by your birth!
