"Merry, merry Christmas to all once more."
The joyful bells are ringing.
"Merry, merry Christmas the wide world o'er,"
We echo back in singing.

1. Angels bright join in our song
From happy homes in glory;
Heaven and earth its notes prolong.
The dear old Christmas story. Chorus

2. Then let Christmas cheer abound,
And love, and gifts, and singing,
Ev'ry heart with praise resound,
Its willing tribute bringing. Chorus

3. Open wide your hearts and homes,
The Prince of Peace is nearing,
Now to all the Christchild comes,
Who wait for his appearing.

Sheet Music

This song was written about the same time as Away In A Manger. The tune Mueller by James R. Ramsey is one of the most popular musical settings. Ramsey was one of the first to publish.

There is a problem in the last two measures of the published sheet music. I resolved the issue by turning the second quarter note in the 15th measure into two eighth notes. Your mileage may differ. See: PDF
