1 Ye faithful, approach ye
Joyfully triumphing;
O come ye, O come ye, to Bethlehem;
Come and behold ye
Born the King of Angels;
    O come, let us worship,
    O come, let us worship,
    O come, let us worship Christ the Lord.

2 God of God,
Light of Light,
Lo, He abhors not the Virgin's womb:
Very God,
Begotten, not created:
O come let us worship, &c.

3 Sing, quires Angelic,
Lo sing exulting,
Sing, all ye citizens of Heav'n above,
Glory to God
In the highest:
O come, let us worship, &c.

4 Yea, Lord, we greet Thee
Born this happy morning:
Jesu, to Thee be glory given:
Word of the Father
Late in flesh appearing:
O come, let us worship, &c.
