1. Merry, merry bells of Christmas, hear them ring!
How their mellow voices seem to shout and sing!
With exulting tribute to our Saviour King,
Here those ringing, ringing bells!

Chorus.
They gladly tell us that a better day is dawning!
Yes, surely dawning! O glorious dawning!
From shore to shore they bear the cheer of Christmas morning
They blessed "Peace on earth, and glad good-will to men!"

2. Merry, merry bells of Christmas in your chime
Many voices echo o'er the hills of time!
Taking up the angels' Christmas song sublime,
Here those ringing, ringing bells! Chorus.

3. Merry, merry bells of Christmas, your sweet song
To all lands in mighty chorus rolls along!
Telling of the final triumph over wrong,
Hear those ringing, ringing bells! Chorus.
