Welcome be this blessed feste
Of goddes sonne in dyuynyte
That is refourmer of our rest
Longe peace and charyty
O blessed. etc.
In tyme of peace this chylde was born
As was shewed in prophesy
To saue mankynde that was forlorne
For kynge of peace he is truly
O blessed. etc.
Borne maruelously he was
Full of grace and dyuynyte
And she a mayden neuer the lesse
And so was neuer non but she
O blessed. etc.
Therfore pray to that lorde
And to his mother that mayden free
To make vs wyse in worde and ded
To prayse and please his deyte
O maruelous. etc.
