1. Ringing the tidings of His birth,

Ringing of Him who came to earth

Ringing of praises in the height

3. Ringing of light of guiding star,
Ringing of lowly manger,

To greet the Holy Stranger. Refrain

4. Ringing of Jesus born again,
Ringing away our sadness,
Ringing of hearts where He shall reign,

5. Ringing the kingdom of our Lord,
Ringing of errors righted,
Ringing of broken spear and sword,
