We haste to the crib with joyful accord,
To see God's own gift on this Christmas day,

The star lights our way.

Mary, sweet mother of the holy child,
Born that all mankind might be reconcil'd
Thy infant son was God sent from above,
All thanks be to Him,
For this gift of love.
