Signs of joy be all a-round,
Heav'n and earth with songs abound:

2. Our salvation is begun;
Mary now doth bear a Son;
Earthly father hath he none:

3. Come, ye choirs, and reverently
Praise your King on bended knee;
Sing in sweetest harmony:

4. Sion, praise your God alway,
Earth's Redeemer, bom today!
