1. Jesus, my bright and morning Star,
My Sun in splendour all divine,
Whom Saints and Angels now adore,
And this sweet Jesus now is mine.

2. These pearly gates are open'd wide
Leads to the city bright and fair
None but the saints baptis'd with blood
Will be admitted to walk there.

3. They sit with Jesus on His throne
And live in all the smiles of God:
Clothéd in robes of spotless white,
They chant and sing the Saviour's blood.

Sheet Music

Note from Pickard-Cambridge: This carol may be sung as a Trio for S. T. B. omitting the Alto part.
