The Hymns and Carols of Christmas

Infant So Gentle

Words and Music: A Gasçon Carol
MIDI / Noteworthy Composer/ PDF

See Rev. Charles Lewis Hutchins, Carols Old and Carols New (Boston: Parish Choir, 1916), Carol # 182

1. Infant so gentle, so pure and so sweet,
Love from Thy tiny eyes, sinners doth greet,
Tend'rest words fail all Thy beauty to show.
We must adore thee, if Thee we would know

2. Infant so holy, so meek and so mild,
We come to welcome Thee, our dear Christ child.
We cannot tell Thee how much we do need,
Thy precious presence; all sinners take heed.
