1. Hark! the merry Christmas bells,
Thro' the glad air pealing!
May they waken in our breast
Ev'ry grateful feeling.
Of the Saviour's wondrous love,
Their sweet tones are telling
Welcome, Lord, to our glad hearts,
Make our homes Thy dwelling.
2. Naught we have to offer Thee
For Thy loving favour,
But our weak and worthless hearts,
Take them, blessed Saviour.
On this happy Christmas morn,
Grand to us Thy blessing,
Which will make us rich indeed,
Gift most worth possessing.
