1. Hark, how the voice is echoed round.
By feeble mortals here on earth.
By feeble mortals here on earth.
While some in midnight sleep are found
And we make known our Saviour's birth.
While some in midnight sleep are found
And we make known our Saviour's birth.

2. Arise, no more in slumber lay,
But come and hail the glorious morn:
Your gifts bring quick without delay,
For lo! the great Messiah's born.

3. Come, tuneful voices loudly raise!
In songs of praise His name adore!
For His great love sound forth His praise,
In hymns of joy for everyone.

4. Now, let's give glory to the lord,
Since peace and love to us are given;
Let strains be sung with sweet accord,
Until they reach the highest Heaven!
