1. Hark! how the angels sing
    On Christmas morn;
What is the news they bring?
    Jesus is born.
It rings throughout the sky:
Glory to God on high,
    Jesus is born, Jesus is born.

2. Shepherds near Bethlehem
    Saw a great light,
Brightness surrounded them,
    Though it was night;
An angel spake to them,
Go, there is Bethlehem
    Jesus is born, Jesus is born.

3. There in a manger, see
    An Infant lie;
The Son of God is He,
    Sent from on high;
There see God's love revealed,
And we might glory win
    Jesus is born, Jesus is born.

4. Let us rejoice and sing
    On Christmas morn,
Jesus our Lord and King
    For us is born.
That He might save from sin
And we might glory win
    Jesus is born, Jesus is born.
