1. Judah's mountains heard the echo,
Of the Angel chorus sing,
As they floated downward floated,
Earth-ward on their shining wings.
Glory to God in the Highest:
The valleys re-echo the strain,
Glory to God in the Highest,
Peace on earth, good will to men.
2. Judah's rivers lent their murmur,
To the Angel's song of love,
As they floated downward floated,
Like a holy sacred dove.
Glory to God in the Highest:
'Twas born o'er the hilltop and plain,
Glory to God in the Highest,
Peace on earth, good will to men.
3. Judah's shepherd's saw the glory,
Heard the voices ringing sweet,
Heard the glad angelic story,
Falling prostrate at their feet.
Glory to God in the Highest:
'Twas echoed o'er hilltop and plain,
Glory to God in the Highest,
Peace on earth, good will to men.
