Awake with joyful strains of mirth,
To celebrate the morn,
That brings glad news of Jesu's birth,
And of a Saviour born.

In lofty hymns your voices raise,
His mighty name adore,
And sound your great Redeemer's praise
With shouts of joy therefore.

To thy great name blest Three in One,
Eternal praise belong—
Let heavenly angels join our lays,
And help us sing our song.
