1. Quĉ stella sole pulchrior
Coruscat? haĉ Regis novi
Revelat ortus: hĉc Dei
Prĉsignat ad cunas iter.
2. Stat vatibus priscis fides,
En Stella surgit ex Jacob:
Arrectus ad spectaculum
Eous orbis emicat.
3. Dum sidus admonet soris,
Lux fulget intus clarior:
Suadetque vi blandâ magos
Signi datorem quĉrere.
4. Segnes amor neseit moras:
Labor, pericla, nil movent;
Domum, propinquos, patriam,
Deo vocante, deserunt.
5. Micante dum nos allicis,
O Christe, Stellâ gratiĉ,
Ne tarda clesti finas
Obstare corda lumini.
6. Qui lumen est, sit laus Patri
Qui se revelat gentibus,
Sit laus Patri, laus Filio,
Par sit tibi laus, Spiritus. Amen.
