1. In noctis umbrâ desides
Dum somnus artus occupat,
Ad te, Deus, sidelibus
Mens excubat suspiriis.

2. Desiderate gentibus,
Verbum Patris, mendi salus,
Audi preces gementium,
Tandemque lapsos excita.

3. Adsis, Redemptor, et tuae
Plebis relaxans crimina,
Adæ scelus quas clauserat,
Reclude cœlestes domos.

4. Qui liberator advenis,
Fili, tibi laus maxima,
Cume Patre, cumque Spiritu,
In sempiterna secula.
