Bing recorded with many stars including the Andrews Sisters, Patti Andrews, Louis Armstrong, Fred Astaire, Connee Boswell, the Boswell Sisters, Rosemary Clooney, Dixie Lee Crosby, Gary Crosby, Trudy Erwin, Judy Garland, Bob Hope, Al Jolson, Danny Kaye, Grace Kelly, Frances Langford, Peggy Lee, Mary Martin, Johnny Mercer, The Mills Brothers, Donald O'Connor, Debbie Reynolds, Carol Richards, Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme and Jane Wyman among others.

1st recording -"I've Got The Girl", a duet, with Al Rinker, and Don Clark & his Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel Orchestra, recorded 18th October 1926.

Last recording - "Once In A While" with Gordon Rose & his Orchestra recorded for the BBC 11th October 1977 in London.

Bing's #1 Top Hits. Of Bing’s recordings which hit number 1 on the music charts of the day – the first three of which were recorded in 1931 – only one was a Christmas carol. Recorded in 1942, "White Christmas" was his 27th number 1 hit.

Bing's recording of "White Christmas" was the most successful single recording in the world for more than 55 years. His latest success with the song was in 1998, when 'White Christmas' charted for three consecutive weeks over the festive season in the UK reaching the number 29 spot.

His last big hit was recorded in 1950 -- "Play A Simple Melody," with Gary Crosby. It reached number 2 on the charts.

Christmas is a wonderful, cheerful holiday.  Whether we spend it by a real tree or some Balsam Hill artificial Christmas trees, at the end of the day what matters is that we enjoy our time together with our loved ones.
